Atlanta Bound Tomorrow 3/27/09

Taken 3/4/09

Taken 3/26/09

See the differences?

Her appointment is at 8:20 am. We are leaving at 3:30 am. I pray that Lilah will get great news. I pray for clearer, thinner corneas. I pray that Lilah's pressures are low/normal. I trust that God will provide for Lilah. I pray that Dr. Lee will, again, be inspired and encouraged by her and her progress.

Thank you for all of the many prayers!

Katie... you have been on my heart and mind a lot lately... you, not Lilah... Remember that Lilah is perfect in God's eyes. She is exactly how He made her and He does NOT make mistakes.
I know that it is easy for me to write about not caring what others say about your baby... but, that is what you have to do. Remember that Lilah is perfect in His sight. And, Lilah will see the things that God wants her to see... both physically and metaphorically... and, don't be afraid to proudly tell people that she is perfect to Him and to you! Not in a mean way, but in a very matter of fact way.
I believe that God has a distinct purpose for all of us and it is not just a coincidence when things happen. God's plan for Lilah (and for you) includes her eyes... or maybe her lack of sight.
Instead of focusing on her not seeing you, focus on the fact that she can hear you, she can touch you, she can nurse from you... I have cuddled that beautiful child and I believe she is powerful. Even if she NEVER sees a thing here on earth, she is powerful. You are her mama and it is your job to help her harness that power as she grows and use it for His good.
Katie, I don't know you that well, but I can say that I love you so much as a sister. I know that you can do this.
Good luck in Atlanta today... and remember... whatever the DR says, the Lord already knew.
