Lilah got her new braces last month.
She has an AFO for her right, weaker, leg.
and an SMO for her left, stronger, leg.
The new braces do not go all the wall to the end of the toe or past the toe. These braces stop at the ball of her foot. What you can see from the above pictures is the plastic insert. This goes to the toe area giving Lilah more feeling to use her own strength instead of the braces doing all the work. They are a little more time consuming to put on, a little bulkier, harder to find shoes to fit, BUT is rally doing incredible with them.

Lilah is getting so big and doing so great! How wonderful to have braces that are stylish and fun with bright pretty colors and designs for her rather than the ones that used to be plain and plastic/metal. I bet other kids think they are really cool! That will help Lilah to feel better about them too! So happy for her and all of you! God's continued Blessings!
